Some fruits classified as real foods are apple, apricot, banana, blackberry, blueberry, cherry, cranberry, figs, grapefruit, grapes, kiwi, lemons, mango, melons, orange, papaya, peaches, pear, pineapple, plums, prunes and strawberries.  Fruits are the ripened extensions of plants that include the plants seeds within.  Fruits make up a significant part of the diets of most cultures and acts as a key ingredient in most vitamin supplements. Other fruits, such as pumpkin and eggplant, are eaten as vegetables.

Wild salmon have omega-3 fats which can help reduce the risk of sudden-death heart attacks. And salmon that is caught wild has less dioxin contaminant than farmed salmon. Citrus fruits are great-tasting and rich in vitamin C, folic acid, and fiber.  They include different varieties like juicy Mineola oranges, Clementine and grapefruits. Figs are a good source of potassium and fiber, figs also contain vitamin B6, which is responsible for producing mood-boosting serotonin, lowering cholesterol and preventing water retention. Lemons and Limes contain limonene, furocoumarins and vitamin C, all of which help prevent cancer.

The healthiest food for brain is cranberry. Cranberries are particularly neuro-protective fruits, they are good at protecting against chronic age-related afflictions like loss of coordination and memory.
